Ghalib ki ek ghazal par kuch khayal

Ye Mirza Asadullah Khan ‘Ghalib’ ki pehli ghazal jo maine suni thi, woh bhi Begum Akhtar ki ruhaani awaaz ke hawaale se. Lekin jaise hota hai, Begum  ne kuch hi asha’ar istemaal kiye the, aur jab maine dekha Chacha jaan ka diwaan dekha to mujhe pata chala ke unhone ghazal ke aadhe se bhi kam sher padhe the…. lekin wohi kaafi the.

Ghalib ke sher asaan nahi hote aur kafi aur yeh ghazal khaas hain…. is mein  jise mein sher mukhatib hai aur shair ke beech mein ek bandish hai aur shair ek jumbish mein hai lekin yaad ke saaye se hat nahi paata. Berhaal ghazal pesh karta hoon:

Dil hi to hai na sang-o-khisht dard se bhar na aaye kyun
Royenge ham hazaar baar koi hamen sataaye kyun

Ab yeh sher dekhiye…. isko do andaaz mein dekh sakte hai aap. Ek to shair zahir kar raha hai ke dil to dil hai, koi eenth pathar to nahi hai. Lekin iska kuch gehre maane bhi hai. Shair yeh bhi keh rahe hain ke woh kyun na aansu baahe.

Dair nahi, haram nahi, dar nahi, aastaan nahi
Baithe hai rahguzar pe ham ghair hame uthaye kyun

Yeh dekhiye, shair yeh keh raha hai ke unhe koi bhi rahaat ki jagah se parhez hai aur rah par baithe, aur ek tarah se lalkaar de rahe hai ke unhe vahan se kyun uthaya ja.

Jab vo jamaal-e-dilfaroz, soorat-e-mahr-e-nimroz
Aap hi ho nazaarasoz, parde mein munh chupaaye kyun

Yeh bhi ek mushkil khayal pesh karta hai. Chacha kuch kam to nahi hai aur bhale jise mukhatib hai ka zikr kar rahe hai lekin yeh khayal Torhat aur Quran se Moses/Musa ka hawaala de rahe hai, jo Khuda ka chehra dekhne ke qaabil nahi tha. Tanz bhi hai ke aisa noorani chehra chupaya kaise aur kyun kiya jaaye

Dashna-e-gamza jaansitaan, naavak-e-naaz bepanaah
Tera hi aks-e-rukh sahi, saamne tere aaye kyun

Yahaan dekhiye Ghalib ne kya misaal jodi hai… ke unke nazar ek khanjar, ek teer ki tarah hai jis se bachna namumkin hai. Bina jaane hue woh Yunani mythology se woh Narcissus ka mudda bhi uthathe hai. Yeh bhi baat hain ke dekhna waala to sahi jiski nazar aisi hai, woh bhi na usse khud bach paayega. 

Qaid-e-hayat-o-band-e-gham asl mein dono ek hain
Maut se pahle aadmi gham se nijaat paaye kyun

Yeh to bahut umda izhaar-e-khayal hai. Zindagi ko ek qaid ki misaal di gayi hai aur shair yeh maante hai ki rihaai mumkin to hai, lekin iska koi imkaan nahi hai.

Husn aur us pe husn-e-zan rah gai bulahavas ki sharm
Apne pe itemaad hai gair ko aazmaye kyun

Yeh zaahir hona chahiye aapko

Vaan vo ghuroor-e-izz-o-naaz yaan ye hijaab-e-paas vaza
Raah mein ham milen kahan, bazm mein vo bulaaye kyun

Yeh ek woh bahut kam baari mein se hai jahan Ghalib samaj par aapni raaye-izhar  karte hai. Woh do manzar dekhte hai – ek jahan par log apne pe ghuroor mein phanse hue hai, aur doosre jo shaistagi mein dhoobe hue hai aur kaise yeh dono alag raahen hai jo kabhi mil nahi sakti. Saath hi main, woh tanz karte huye farmate hai woh in mein unhe kyun daawat mile. 

Haan vo nahi khudaaparast, jaao vo bevafa sahi
Jisko ho din-o-dil aziz, uski gali mein jaaye kyun

Yeh bhi aap sab ko zahir hona chahiye.

‘Ghalib’-e-khasta ke bagair kaun se kaam band hain
Roiye zaar-zaar kya, kiijye haaye-haaye kyun

Aur maqta mein Chacha apni qabiliyat dikhata hai – ik behtareen andaz mein. Ik insaan ki ghair-maujudgi se kya ruk jaayega, aur rone-peetne se kya faida. Khair, Chacha maan ke chalte hai ke aisa anjaam hi hoga……

Main bhi is asha’ar se kuch to seekha hoon…berhaal
